Grand Opening
Join us on Friday, June 26th at 11:00am for the MICR Rugby Field Grand Opening!
The Grand Opening will include a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:00 am, and a community day celebration from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm!
MICR’s home field will be more than a field - it will be a space built for connection, growth, and long-term impact.
We’re so excited to celebrate with a casual, high-energy community event with family, students, and supporters! The event will include touch rugby, food, and activities to celebrate!
We’re looking forward to seeing you there on June 26! We would also like to extend a special thank you to Mayor Lee Harris, Memphis Shelby County Schools, and Shelby County for making the MICR Rugby Field possible!

La Gran Inauguración del Campo de MICR Rugby tendrá lugar el Viernes 26 de Junio!
¡La Gran Inauguración incluirá un corte de cinta a las 11:00 a.m. y una celebración para toda la communidad de 12:00 p.m - 4:00 p.m!
El campo de casa para MICR sera mas que un campo, sera un espacio construido para la conexión, crecimiento y el impacto a largo plazo.
¡Estamos muy emocionados de celebrar un evento communitario casual y de alta energia con las familias, los estudiantes, y nuestros seguidores! El evento incluirá rugby, comida, y actividades para celebrar este dia!

No entry fee - the Grand Opening is free to attend!

11:00am - Ribbon Cutting CeremonyThe ribbon cutting ceremony will feature speeches from Shelby County Mayor Lee Harris and other supporters and stakeholders.
11:30am - 4:00pm - Community Day CelebrationTouch Rugby Tournament
Watch MICR players and alumni compete in a touch rugby tournament, breaking in the new field! Spectators will also be able to participate during the break between tournament games - learning how to play rugby in a hands-on way!
