MICR Scholarship Interviews
The Memphis Inner City Rugby (MICR) scholarship will advance educational opportunities for MICR alumni by reducing the financial gap needed to pursue advanced educational opportunities. This scholarship opportunity is a reality thanks to the hard work and sacrifice made by MICR student-athletes, coaches, staff, board of directors, and supporters- past and present.
All interviews for scholarship finalists will take place on Tuesday, June 23rd between 5-8pm.

Field Planting Day!
Memphis Inner City Rugby (MICR) is hosting a volunteer planting day to help prepare our new rugby field ahead of its grand opening in late June. We’re looking for volunteers to join us for a morning of outdoor service as we dig, prep, and get the space ready for shrubs and small trees.
Volunteers will assist with:
Digging planting holes
Preparing soil and planting areas
Placing shrubs and small trees
General field beautification and light outdoor work
No prior experience is necessary — just a willingness to help and work outdoors. This is a great opportunity to support a space that will serve students and the broader community for years to come.
What to Bring
Closed-toe shoes
Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
Water bottle
Work gloves (optional, if you have them)

State Championship!
The state championship takes place in Nashville. PCA High School boys have qualified, and Soulsville High School Girls are playing in the semifinals on Saturday, April 25th to determine whether they will qualify.

Location note: The entrance is in a residential neighborhood and the easiest way to get there is to navigate to 5344 Cherokke Rose Lane. Please drive slowly through the neighborhood. The entrance to the field is right next to 5344.
(Senior Celebration!) Soulsville vs White Station High School Boys
This game will also include a celebration of the graduating class in the Soulsville High School Boys! The senior ceremony will be at 10:30, with the game kickoff at 11am.
