At MICR, every gift is part of the team effort that makes our work possible. From the largest transformational commitments to steady annual contributions, all of our donors help create access to coaches, transportation, safe spaces, and life-changing opportunities for Memphis youth.
Giving is more than a transaction. It is a commitment to equity, opportunity, and long-term change for young people in Memphis. Every donor, at every level, helps us sustain free rugby programming, provide reliable transportation and equipment, and create safe spaces where students grow as athletes, scholars, and leaders.
We celebrate our supporters by recognizing them in four donor groups. These groups represent different ways of stepping into this work. Each reflects a unique kind of commitment, but all share the same outcome: life-changing opportunities for young people in under-resourced neighborhoods.
Game Changers Club
Game Changer Sponsors and individuals with over 25,000 dollars in lifetime giving
Game Changers are the cornerstone of our sustainability. These are our most transformational partners, individuals, and organizations who have made extraordinary commitments to advancing our mission. By providing long-term financial strength, Game Changers enable us to plan boldly, expand programs, and build a future where every student has access to the resources they need to thrive.
Members of this club are recognized as leaders in the effort to create equity and opportunity in Memphis. Their generosity is felt not only by the students in our programs today but by future generations who will benefit from the stronger foundation they have helped to create.

Game Changers receive regular touch points throughout the year,
including the MICR monthly newsletter (sent at the end of each month),
a monthly MICR Story from a student, coach, or alumnus (sent mid-month), and 20% off all event ticket sales
Members also receive access to new MICR merchandise or gear, plus a special package for new members sent in June.
Game Changers are further recognized with annual notes from staff and players in October, an impact report each June, and a personal message from our Executive Director every February.
Try Club
Donors giving 1,000 dollars or more per fiscal year
The Try Club is made up of dedicated supporters who consistently go above and beyond in their giving. These donors provide the stability and flexibility that allow us to grow programs and expand our reach. By stepping into this level of support, Try Club members make it possible for MICR to serve more students each year while also strengthening the foundation of our current work.
Contributions at this level help us move beyond simply maintaining programming. They provide the margin that allows us to deepen our impact, develop new initiatives, and invest in the resources that ensure our students receive the support they need to succeed on and off the field.

The Scrum Club represents the backbone of MICR’s community of support. These loyal donors sustain the daily work of our organization and ensure that every season, hundreds of students can rely on free programming, transportation, and consistent mentorship.
Scrum Club members are proof that collective generosity builds powerful outcomes. This group demonstrates that whether a contribution is modest or large, what truly matters is the steady commitment to young people in Memphis. Their giving shows students that there is a community of people who believe in their potential and want to see them succeed.

Kick Off Club

The Kickoff Club is made up of donors who choose consistency as their way of giving. These supporters provide steady resources through recurring monthly gifts, which creates reliable strength for MICR all year long. Just as in the game of rugby, where a steady cadence is essential, these donors provide a dependable rhythm of support that keeps the work moving forward.
With the support of Kickoff Club members, students know they can count on coaches who will be there for them, transportation to and from practices and games, and safe places to learn and grow. Monthly gifts, no matter the size, add up to create long-term stability for our organization and confidence for our students.

Joining the Kickoff Club through monthly giving does not limit your recognition in our other donor groups. Based on the total amount you give over the course of a fiscal year, you may also be part of the Game Changers Club, the Try Club, or the Scrum Club. This means your steady monthly support keeps you connected to a larger community of donors who together make free programming, transportation, and mentorship possible for Memphis youth.
