Memphis Inner City Rugby (MICR) is hosting a volunteer planting day to help prepare our new rugby field ahead of its grand opening in late June. We’re looking for volunteers to join us for a morning of outdoor service as we dig, prep, and get the space ready for shrubs and small trees.

Volunteers will assist with:

• Digging planting holes

• Preparing soil and planting areas

• Placing shrubs and small trees

• General field beautification and light outdoor work

No prior experience is necessary — just a willingness to help and work outdoors. This is a great opportunity to support a space that will serve students and the broader community for years to come.

What to Bring

• Closed-toe shoes

• Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty

• Water bottle

• Work gloves (optional, if you have them)
